The Super Lotto 6/49 Draw makes winning much more difficult but also increased the jackpot prize. The bettor must select 6 correct numbers out of 1-49 to win at least Php8,000,000.00 jackpot money. As of July 2010, there have been 183 lucky winners and PCSO has given them a total of Php7,052,568,301.80 for this type of draw.
Included in the 183 lucky jackpot winners of Super Lotto 6/49 Draw is a 60-year-old laborer from Quezon City who singularly won Php249,005,120.00 on March 30, 2008. This is the largest single-winning prize.
On February 22, 2009, two winners shared the Php347,836,903.00 jackpot money.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 Draw is the latest addition to the Philippine Lotto Draws. It was started on April 2010. It is the most difficult to win because the bettor has to select 6 correct number out of 1-55. The minimum jackpot prize is Php30,000,000.00.
As of today, there had only been two winners of the Grand Lotto 6/55 Draw. It was won on May 12, 2010 draw with the numbers 45-27-29-12-39-31. The jackpot prize won was Php134,629,873.20.
The other Grand Lotto 6/55 Draw winner won on November 29, 2010 draw with the numbers 11-16-42-47-31-37. The jackpot prize won was Php741,176,323.20. The winner was from Olongapo City, Zambales.
